What is Compliance Expert?
Compliance Expert is the hub of the Compliance Network — fifteen independent directories, one per compliance framework (SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, CMMC, NIST, AI, GLP). Each directory lists real providers, publishes sourced cost guidance, and runs a free quote-matching form.
Do you perform audits, assessments, or issue certifications?
No. We are an independent directory and quote-matching service. Audits, assessments, and certifications are performed by the licensed firms, qualified assessors, and accredited bodies listed on each network site — never by us.
Which compliance framework do I actually need?
Usually the answer comes from whoever is asking: a customer contract, a card brand, a regulator, or a defense contract. If nobody named one, our which-framework guide walks through the common triggers.
Is the quote matching really free?
Yes — free for buyers, no obligation. When you request quotes, matched providers may pay us a lead or referral fee. That payment can never change which providers we list, what our guides say, or who we recommend.
How do you choose which providers to list?
Each directory lists providers with real, operating websites offering services for its framework, verified by a human visit. Listings are not endorsements and firms cannot pay to be listed, ranked higher, or recommended. See our methodology.
What happens to my details when I request quotes?
Quote-request details are shared with the audit firms and service providers matched to your request — that's the service. We may disclose information if required by law. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Can a provider pay to be featured or ranked higher?
No. We don't sell placement, rankings, recommendations, or profile edits — on the hub or on any network site. Matched providers may pay a lead or referral fee when you request quotes, under a firewall that cannot touch listings or editorial.
Do you publish reviews or ratings of providers?
No. We have not hired these firms' clients, so we won't compress fit into stars or scores, and we publish no testimonials. Directories show factual provider profiles; guides help you evaluate fit yourself.
